Bachelor of Arts (B.A., Hons.), Literature and History, National University of Singapore
I hold degrees from prestigious institutions, reflecting my commitment to academic excellence.
Research Areas
West African Literature, especially focusing on Nigeria, Senegal, and Mali.
Bengali Adivasi Fiction, especially in the works of Mahasweta Devi.
Postcolonial Theory, including West African postcolonial thought, general Central and East African political theory, and the works of the subaltern studies group.
Literary and Critical Theory, including the works of the Frankfurt School, the structuralists, and the poststructuralists.
My research primarily focuses on West African fictions and critical approaches, alongside general forays into wider critical theory.
